I am happy to be able to bring new techniques for breast reconstruction and lymphedema surgery back to British Columbia. There is a big need for breast reconstruction and lymphedema care locally. There is currently no lymphedema program to treat the 20% of breast cancer patients who develop this condition in BC.
I am thankful to Drs. Hamdi and Zeltzer for their teaching over the past 6 months.
